Circle Description
Devotion at its core, is the act of making sacred—a practice of bringing life and animation to the heart’s deepest wisdom. When we devote ourselves to our heart’s wisdom, we breathe life into it, nurturing it with reverence and care. This sacred tending ripples outward, animating the universe around us—the Earth, the waters, the fire, and the winds of change.
As we bring our hearts to life, we are not only deepening our relationship with ourselves, in choosing to participate in this sacred work, we also offer this healing to the greater web of life. Our Earth Mother receives this beautiful offering and her waters begin to flow with renewed vitality and grace, her fire burns brighter and warms our spirits and her winds carry the breath of transformation, stirring life into all things. Our beloved Earth Mother softens beneath us with gratitude and offers in return an unconditional love that only she, our Great Mother, can offer her children.

In this sacred tending, our ancestors are honoured, as they too knew the power of devotion. They lived in harmony with the elements, understanding that to care for one’s heart was to care for the entire cosmos. Through this sacred act of devotion, we heal not only the present, but also the past and future generations. We become the bridge to love, where the sacredness we cultivate in ourselves extends beyond the confines of our heart and reanimates the universe around us through the lens of deep love and reverence for all beings.
Join your guides, Athina and Vesna on a journey of devotion and return to the map of ancestral wisdom that only the heart knows. Supported by the heart opening medicine of Cuatro Manos y Cinco Volcanes Hawaiian ceremonial cacao tea, heart healing meditation, somatic movement and sound, each participant will be invited to craft a felt heart talisman that represents their journey of devotion.

Studio 59 is a beautiful 1950’s cottage set in the heart of Mordialloc and is the studio and gallery space to local artist Stella Grieg.

Meet Your Facilitators
Athina Sardellis
Athina is a devoted mother, energy healer, trauma-informed yoga teacher, and emerging ceremonialist. She believes that healing requires courage, accountability, and a belief in your own magic and medicine. Athina’s role is to hold space, witness, and guide you as you embrace all parts of yourself, both shadows and light.
Creating a safe and sacred environment, Athina invites you to rest your soul and engage in deep healing, reminding you that true transformation often involves unraveling and rediscovering oneself. She co-creates with her team in spirit, including her ancestors, and nurtures a deep reciprocal relationship with the Earth and all its inhabitants, both seen and unseen. Constantly evolving in her practice, Athina serves as a conduit of divine love, helping to illuminate the beauty in your depth and encouraging you to embrace your role as your own healer.
Currently a student of the Path of IX, Athina feels immense gratitude for the opportunity to share this profound work, honoring her present and past elders and the wisdom they imparted.
Vesna Vavladellis
Vesna is a mother, scientist, sound alchemist, ceremonialist, healer, oracle, teaching assistant & student at the Path of IX & Cuatro Manos y Cinco Volcanes Cacao school.
Vesna loves creating nurturing and supportive environments that allow you to meet yourself wherever you are on your journey, and that encourage you to venture beyond the cognitive limitations of your mind supported by Hawaiian cacao, fern medicine, sound, somatic movement, indigenous breath practices, dreaming and meditation to access inspired realms of purest clarity, connection and insight.
Vesna walk in deep relationship alongside her teachers, ancestors & guides on her journey to reclaim the wisdom traditions & magic of her lineage. Through her own journey of remembering & reclamation, she welcomes and empowers others to explore their ancestral roots and to walk their path with courage.
