Indigenous IK' 3 breath practice - a journey of the mind, body, spirit

  • Mindful AF 333 Belgrave-Gembrook Road Emerald, VIC, 3782 Australia (map)

THESE ARE INDIGENOUS CIRCLES, and may be very different to the breath work you are accustomed to. Please approach this circle as a cultural exchange.

The Ik’ Three Breath Practice has emerged at a time when the world is in crisis, a time of war and dismantling of systems. Ik’ is an evolution and weaving of multiple practices, which have evolved to adapt to rapidly changing times. Indigenous traditions are living traditions that change, not systems of culture frozen in time and space like a photograph.

Developed by One Who Catches Lightning with permission from the Moonwalker elders (who now use a version of this technique as well) we bring this woven imagery of breath, connection, self love (of all beings), sovereignty, and liberation (acceptance) to you as a tool for personal use.

These sessions go beyond teaching you breathwork techniques. They include history and culture, and are woven with ancient rituals, storytelling, practical knowledge, and a hands on exercise.

Ik’ 3 Breath Circle - The Three Parts: Integrating your mind, body, & essence

For this circle (March 9th) we will be working with & welcoming the three parts, which we invite into cohesion using our three breaths. We will explore why we work with 3 parts, and how this became necessary as human societies have shifted and accelerated. This circle will include breath practice, plática (teachings), and a hands on creative practice to connect to the teachings, as well as a cacao offering.

Please note that mob are welcome to join free of charge.

For all others, we have sliding scale 3-tier pricing. Please pay whichever price is accessible, and consider paying it forward to support others to attend.
